I much enjoyed Keith Peat’s letter about motorists and cyclists, which was written with style and panache. Unfortunately, it didn’t make a lot of sense.

Cycling is “a tiny minority activity”?  It depends which country you are in. Clearly not Holland. Even in Britain probably most children are cyclists some of the time. If the roads were safer or cycle facility provision was to Dutch standards, almost all of us could be cyclists (some of us riding electric bikes) for...
