Three major transport projects in Bristol are likely to be part-funded by the city’s proposed Community Infrastructure Levy. The South Bristol Link road and the bus rapid transit schemes between Ashton Vale and the city centre and from the North Fringe to Hengrove are among the projects for which CIL is being earmarked. Bristol expects to implement CIL in late 2012/early 2013 and estimates it will raise £13.5m over five years.
