Scottish campaign targets metal theft

The Scottish police and charity Crimestoppers are launching a national campaign to help tackle metal theft in Scotland.

The “Cut out Metal theft” campaign from the Association of Police Officers in Scotland (ACPOS) and the anti-crime charity is designed to encourage the public to report metal theft anonymously to Crimestoppers.

The campaign includes radio advertising and print media, with chief superintendent Ellie Bird, commander for the Scotland area of British Transport Police...
