A traffic commissioner has banned small bus operator Sandwell Travel from operating services from bus stands in Walsall following a public inquiry that concluded they had flouted the terms of their licence and that this had resulted in rival operator Midland losing revenue. Commissioner Nick Jones found that Sandwell “encouraged or condoned bad driver behaviour including stand blocking and deliberately running buses in front of Midland’s to take passengers from them”.
