Two options for Midland Metro link to HS2

Centro and Birmingham City Council are to consult on two options for extending Midland Metro to the city’s proposed new high-speed rail station at Curzon Street and potentially beyond.  

The new line would leave the Snow Hill-New Street city centre extension – currently being constructed and due to open in 2015 – at Bull Street. A consultation will seek views on a 0.9km route via Carr’s Lane or a 0.8km route via Albert Street.
