Free parking is to be offered at eight of York’s city centre car parks using funding provided by an out-of-town shopping park and York City Football Club’s stadium.
Developers Oakgate’s £90m Monks Cross Vangarde Development, designed by architects DLA Design, will offer residents free parking between 8am and 11am on Thursday, Friday and Saturdays. The one-year trial will start on 26 May.
