The volume of traffic on the M6 Toll road in the West Midlands in April-June was 7.2% above the corresponding period of 2013, according to road operator Midland Expressway Ltd. Average daily weekday traffic rose 7.3% from 44,939 to 48,252 and weekend traffic rose 8.4% from 29,765 to 32,265.
