A planning inspector has rejected the Government’s request that maximum parking standards be deleted from the mayor’s London Plan.
Brandon Lewis, the minister of state for housing and planning, wrote last autumn to Anthony Thickett, the planning inspector considering alterations to the London Plan, pointing out that the plan’s maximum limits on parking were contrary to Government policy (LTT 14 Nov 14).
