Data & Modelling 2015

Juliana O’Rourke
15 May 2015

The focus for Data & Modelling 2015, along with the issues to be discussed at Modelling World 2015 on June 4 at London's Kia Oval, is on what models and modelling are delivering now. The key political issue of air quality and pollution reduction is among them, along with new ways of modelling the here and now, – and what we can expect the models to deliver in the next decade and beyond. A key topic is the use of new data sources, and the emerging skills, tools and techniques required to support drive innovative and effective use of Big Data. Data access, privacy and management are among the issues topping the agenda, along with a focus on driverless futures and autonomous vehicle modelling. Our ongoing exploration of modelling for changes in travel demand and mode completes this year's innovative agenda.
