Defra consults on air quality strategy that could limit car use

THE DEPARTMENT for Environment Food & Rural Affairs has published a consultation document on measures to improve air quality that could potentially have far-reaching impacts on road transport in towns and cities in the UK.

The stated purpose of the consultation is to seek views on “the action taken, being implemented and planned at local, regional and national levels to meet the annual and hourly EU NO2 limit values in the shortest possible time”.
