Data & Modelling 2016

Middle East 2016

Juliana O'Rourke
17 February 2016

Smart City Modelling: Modelling World Middle East 2016 will provide a unique platform for regional professionals to explore and debate the opportunities offered, and challenges faced, by a region with highly ambitious plans for development and growth. World-class events such as Expo 2020 Dubai and the Qatar World Cup 2022 will demand global best practice in connected urban mobility and logistics.

The rapidly-growing smart cities of the region have ambitious plans to make good use of emerging technologies to transport people and goods more efficiently. Modelling, including data analytics, will be a key element of transport planning and infrastructure management in the smart city era. New tools, applications and skillsets will be needed, and Smart City Modelling: Modelling World Middle East 2016 has been designed to explore these opportunities and challenges.

The aim of Modelling World Europe, which has run for more then a decade, has always been to share knowledge, exchange ideas and improve practice – not just among the technical analysts but also engaging end clients, project managers and, ultimately, decision-makers.  We are proud and excited to present the first Modelling World Middle East in February, the leading regional forum at which innovation and insight will be celebrated, debated, showcased and shared.
