Disquiet is being expressed in Bristol at the circumstances surrounding the resignation of the chair of the West of England Local Enterprise Partnership (WELEP), Colin Skellett, and the announcement that the Malaysian-owned YTL Corporation has bought the large development site of Filton Airfield in north Bristol with planning permission for over 2,500 homes.
