I was not in the least disappointed – or for that matter, surprised – to read of Malcolm Bulpitt’s four speeding penalties, only that he chose to lecture us about obeying a law he himself now admits to breaking (Letters LTT 13 May). Nor I am impressed that he seems to think that paying fines without complaint means they no longer count – in effect a license to speed and indeed to lecture us mere mortals.
