KSIs down 60% since A9 camera installation

Killed and serious injuries on the A9 trunk road between Dunblane and Inverness have fallen by more than half since average speed cameras were introduced, according to figures released by the A9 Safety Group.

Cameras went live on 28 October 2014 on single carriageway sections between Perth and Inverness, and the dual carriageway section between Dunblane and Perth (LTT 31 Oct 14). The distance from Dunblane to Inverness is 136 miles.
