PART OF the M8 on the west side of Glasgow city centre could be covered over by a garden as part of plans to reduce the severance effect of the road.
The proposal is contained in a regeneration framework for the Sauchiehall and Garnethill district of central Glasgow prepared by the city council and consultants Gehl Architects, CLES (the Centre for Local Economic Strategies), Urban Movement, and Nick Wright Planning.
