Bristol City Council is in talks with the operator of a park-and-ride facility after councillors halted with immediate effect subsidy payments that totalled £560,000 last year. 

The Long Ashton park-and-ride site, located beside the A370 in the south-west of the city, opened in 1997. It is now served by two bus services: the 903 to the city centre and the 505 to Southmead hospital.
