‘Devolving APD no threat to Bristol

Devolving Air Passenger Duty (APD) to Wales would pose little threat to Bristol Airport, the Welsh Government has claimed. 

The UK Government rejected the advice of an official commission on Welsh devolution in 2012 that APD should be devolved in Wales, as in Scotland. 

Last week Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones renewed his calls for APD devolution as his Government released a report  commissioned from aviation and tourism consultant Northpoint.
