Michael Matheson (pictured) has been appointed cabinet secretary for transport, infrastructure and connectivity in a reshuffle by Scotland’s First Minister Nicola Sturgeon. Matheson, the MSP for Falkirk West, was cabinet member for justice. The Scottish Government’s transport brief was previously below cabinet rank and held by Humza Yousaf, minister for transport and the islands. Yousaf has been promoted to cabinet secretary for justice.
