Transport minister Karen Buck: Agreed to consider moving dykes alongside ?Acle straight?

 

Transport minister Karen Buck told a Westminster Hall adjournment debate that the Government has not ruled out authorising improvements to the 'Acle straight' stretch of the A47 in Norfolk, even though it is "alive to the significant environmental concerns and the general policy that there is a strong presumption against schemes that would significantly affect environmentally sensitive sites or important species or habitats".
