Leeds City Council has criticised the Government for a lack of information about the new plan to place HS2 on a viaduct on the approach to Leeds.
The DfT is consulting on refinements to the design of HS2 phase 2b, including placing a five-mile section between Woodlesford and Leeds predominantly on a viaduct, rather than the previous plan for a combination of ground level, cutting and embankment.
