Transport Scotland has published a new draft national transport strategy for consultation.
The document contains few policy proposals.
It speaks of embedding the “sustainable travel hierarchy” in decision-making, promoting walking, “wheeling” (travel by wheelchair), cycling, public transport and shared transport options in preference to single occupancy private car use.
