Grand Union Trains has applied to the Office of Rail and Road (ORR) to run open access train services between London Euston and Stirling via the West Coast Main Line.
The prospective open access operator is proposing three or four trains a day each way calling at Larbert, Greenfaulds, Whifflet, Motherwell, Lockerbie, Carlisle, Preston, Crewe, Nuneaton and Milton Keynes.
