Welsh 20mph marketing campaign tackles misinformation

Production of a “misinformation toolkit” is included in the contract for an integrated marketing campaign to support introduction of the 20mph default speed limit in Wales, it has emerged.

The Welsh Government appointed Cardiff-based communications and behavioural insights consultancy Lynn to deliver the campaign ahead of 20mph becoming the speed limit in September on all restricted roads, other than excepted roads where highway authorities will erect 30mph signs.
