The UK new quarantine rules ask most visitors arriving in the country to self-isolate for 14-days, Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has told Parliament. The quarantine is expected to come into effect in early June. Initially it will be a blanket ban, though Ministers have indicated that Ireland will be exempt.
Shapps said that final details of the quarantine plans would be released following discussions on the policy.
