The UK’s first charging clean air zone (CAZ) outside London went live in Bath city centre this week. The Class C CAZ, implemented by Bath & North East Somerset Council, imposes daily charges of £9 on non-compliant vans, minibuses and private hire vehicles, and £100 on non-compliant HGVs, buses and coaches.
