The dft’s new cycle infrastructure design standards cannot be reflected in all new schemes because many have been designed before the guidance was published last summer, a council has said.
The DfT has said it will be a condition of any future Government funding for new cycle infrastructure that it is designed to be consistent with Local Transport Note 1/20, Cycle infrastructure design, published last summer.
