The West Midlands Combined Authority has awarded transport data specialist Ito World a contract to improve the provision of real-time information (RTI) about bus services.
The Transforming Real Time Information (T-RTI) contract will include a data hub, prediction engine and analysis tools.
Information will be published through APIs, journey planners, apps and websites, as well as over 1,700 electronic screens at bus stops, stands and shelters.
