The Countryside Agency and English Nature have voiced their opposition to the Highways Agency's proposed A57/A628 Mottram-Tintwistle bypass. In a joint response to the publication of draft orders for the scheme, the bodies said they objected to the adverse impact the scheme would have on the landscape of the Peak District National Park.
