ULEZ to blame for Labour’s byelection loss, says Starmer

Labour Leader Kier Starmer has blamed the imminent expansion of London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) for his party’s failure to win the Uxbridge and South Ruislip byelection.

He urged Sadiq Khan, London’s Labour mayor, to “reflect” on his decision to extend the zone from the north and south circular roads to cover all London boroughs on 29 August.
