The Elizabeth line improved connectivity across London, with better cross-river links, particularly around the Abbey Wood branch, according to new reports from Transport for London (TfL).

More than 90% of customers surveyed said the Elizabeth line, which opened in May 2022, has had a positive impact in their area, with a majority welcoming the increased transport connectivity to London suburbs and improved access to Heathrow Airport.
