Support for road safety schemes in the capital is high, with 72% of residents agreeing that local authorities are taking the right steps to improve conditions, states a new survey. The Cyclomedia study, now in its third year, looked at transport trends and road safety opinions in 32 European cities.
In contrast to London, residents in seven of the surveyed cities said that authorities are falling short in their efforts to enhance road safety.
