Welsh Government consults on mandatory EV chargers for new homes

The Welsh Government is proposing that an electric vehicle (EV) chargepoint will be mandatory at every new home which has an associated car parking space within the site boundary. It also proposes similar requirements for buildings converted into homes and for non-residential buildings.

In a consultation document on the proposals, it says it expects home charging to be central to the future EV charging ecosystem.
