Services must meet the needs of disabled passengers, Lightwood tells operators

Local Transport Minister Simon Lightwood has urged transport operators to follow the lead of Brighton & Hove Buses and improve accessibility on their bus services.

During a visit to Brighton earlier this month, Lightwood learned about improvements being made by Brighton & Hove Buses such as displaying information for those with hearing and sight impairments and increased space for wheelchairs.
