This year's Future Transport Forum will showcase a host of solutions being piloted across the UK's Future Transport Zones – and beyond.
The conference - taking place in Southampton on 22-23 January - will offer details of new developments including the sustainable home library service launched by the Solent Future Transport Zone (FTZ). This is designed to bring books directly to people’s doors using green transport such as e-cargo bikes and e-vans. The free service makes accessing books easier for people who are unable to use their local library for health reasons or a disability.
The service is funded by Solent FTZ as part of a range of sustainable transport trials. Four FTZs have been funded by the DfT across England.
