Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Combined Authority says it has been forced to delay the launch of seven Council Tax precept-funded bus services due to a bus operator’s decision to withdraw its winning bids. The authority said it was unwilling to name the bus operator due to “legal reasons”.
Stagecoach East has since confirmed it is the bus operator but insisted it did not withdraw from the tender process.
