A new bus and cycling ‘transport corridor’ is set to be installed on a main road in Bristol city centre.
The council’s Transport and Connectivity Committee has approved the scheme, which forms part of its aim to encourage more people to use public transport or to cycle and walk. Congestion is an ongoing issue on Temple Way as it holds up bus services, leading to longer bus journeys for commuters, said the committee.
