Johnson names ‘bike boroughs’

Boris Johnson has pledged £25,000 to each of 12 outer London boroughs as their reward for being named ‘biking boroughs’. The cash will fund a study into how cycling can best be developed in each area, including engineering measures, installing more cycle parking, and joint working with schools, primary care trusts and workplaces.
