Lincs’ CallConnect is great – but it could be even better

As a resident of Lincolnshire I commend the county council’s CallConnect services. However, just to balance up your article I would mention a couple of features that were missing.

Firstly, as with any dial-a-ride service, journeys obviously have to be booked. This is not always convenient for people, e.g. when having to estimate return times from medical appointments. Secondly, the services do not operate in evenings or on Sundays, which hardly supports local economies dependent on shift...
