Heathrow Airport could become a major rail hub not only for air passengers but for west London and the Thames Valley under the Government’s high-speed rail plans.

Initially, high-speed rail passengers travelling to/from Heathrow will have to change at Old Oak Common, with connecting trains taking 11 minutes to reach Heathrow’s central terminal area.
