ATOC to help operators to understand what passengers want

The Association of Train Operating Companies is expected to increase its public relations staff and assist operators in improving customer service and promoting passengers’ interests as part of its expanded remit.

New chairman Mike Alexander told Transit that helping operators gain better understanding of and some common positions on what passengers want from the railway could form a key part of ATOC’s new role.
