West Yorkshire’s bus operators have reacted angrily to the Integrated Transport Authority’s rejection of partnership working in favour of bus Quality Contracts.

Reflecting on last week’s ITA  decision, Keith McNally, chair of the Association of Bus Operators in West Yorkshire (ABOWY), which represents 13 operators, said: “Up and down the country, in places like Nottingham, Brighton, Oxford and Liverpool, partnership approaches have been proved to deliver benefits...
