Average speed camera for Highlands route

The Scottish Government is examining installing average speed cameras along a 138-mile stretch of the A9 trunk road from Dunblane to Inverness – a project that would create the longest stretch of road to be covered by cameras in the UK. The road is dual carriageway between Dunblane and Perth but becomes a mix of single and dual carriageway between Perth and Inverness.
