Get revenue from MOT centres, not tariff hikes, advises DCLG

Council-run MOT test centres should open their doors to the public as a way of generating revenue, according to a report from the Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG).

“This is a far better way of making money from motorists than the lazy way of hiking parking charges,” states the report.
