Smart Parking has launched the next generation of its SmartPark, a package of technologies that provide drivers with real-time information on unoccupied on-street car parking spaces in a town or city centre.

SmartPark includes the SmartEye sensor (pictured), which uses infrared to detect when a vehicle has occupied a parking space. The new SmartEye sensors feature a virtually flat, anti-slip profile. The sensors are also RFID-equipped, enabling RFID tag identification to allow permit parking...
