Welsh allocate transport cash

Gwynedd, Cardiff, Pembrokeshire and Swansea  Councils have secured the biggest shares of the Welsh Government’s £15.4m local transport fund for 2014/15.

Gwynedd has received over £2m for four projects, including £840,930 for the Pont Briwet road/rail bridge. Cardiff gets £2m for three projects, including bus priority. Swansea’s £1.8m includes £1.5m for a distributor road and £300,000 for cycle routes. Pembrokeshire has received over...
