‘No progress’ on Scots cycling target

The Scottish Government has made no progress towards its target of 10% of all trips to be by bicycle by 2020, according to the Committee on Climate Change. In a review of Scotland’s progress on reducing carbon dioxide emissions, the Committee says: “Scottish transport statistics shows that, in 2013, 1% of journeys were by bike, well below the 2020 ambition of 10%.
