Action on climate change does not need to be pitched against growing the economy. Instead a combination of government and business investment offers a route to a secure and prosperous future for the UK, says the Climate Change Committee (CCC).

Around 65-90% of the required investment will be paid by the private sector. But there will need to be targeted public investment too, the CCC says.
