Free parking week raises £2.2k for Hull hospice

APCOA Parking (UK) raised over £2,200 for a hospice in Kingston-upon-Hull by allowing drivers to park in a car park free for one week. The multi-storey at King William House on Lowgate accommodates 600 cars and is mainly used by commuters and people visiting the town.

Between 2-6 November, the car park’s pay stations were turned off and drivers were invited to make a contribution to the Dove House Hospice instead. A text number for donations was advertised, while bucket collectors...
