The Government is to consult on halving the tolls on the Severn Crossings when they return to public ownership in 2018. The tolls are levied in a westbound direction only and are currently £6.60 for a car, £13.20 for a van, and £19.80 for a coach or lorry. The bridge is currently managed by Severn River Crossing plc.
