Belfast road scheme approved

The Northern Ireland Executive has approved plans for a major road scheme in Belfast following a public inquiry but funding for the project remains uncertain. The £120m-£165m York Street Interchange project will replace a signalised gyratory system at York Street with a grade separated interchange between the Westlink, the M2 and the M3, the three busiest roads in Northern Ireland.
